ONE SHOT – EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
Much has been written and many training programmes exist on the topic of "Emotional Intelligence" or "EQ" as it is sometimes known.
But what exactly do we mean by "emotional intelligence" and how can we understand our own emotional intelligence "talents" and learn to develop these "talents" and use our emotional intelligence skills better?
Our ONE SHOT programme explains the origins of the four innate components of emotional intelligence:
1. Emotional sensitivity
2. Emotional memory
3. Emotional processing and problem solving ability
4. Emotional learning ability.
The programme explains how our innate "talents" are developed and manipulated through the experience and events that shape our lives, and that to become a Peak Performing emotionally intelligent person it is necessary to learn to:
1. accurately identify emotions
2. use emotions to help you think
3. understand what causes emotions
4 manage to stay open to these emotions in order to capture the wisdom of our feelings
The e-learning material of this ONE SHOT programme is delivered in advance of the full day experiential programme. Before commencement of the one day experiential element the learning outcomes will have given you an understanding of the four pillars of emotional intelligence:
1. Self Awareness
2. Self Management
3. Social Awareness
4. Relationship Management
The experiential day will cement this understanding and give you the opportunity to practice your new EQ skills in a real outdoor environment.
This one of a kind programme is only available to group sizes of 10 or more.
The exact content and delivery format of our blended learning solution will be determined only after prior client consultation.
The blended learning programme delivers its learning content via a series of daily e mails, utlising links to our secure "content server". Our content server is configured to deliver a series of customised "core" modules to each registered user. At the end of each module the user is asked to complete certain tasks or answer specific questions to ensure that the programme module is completed and understood. At certain points within the programme the users are brought together for specific learning activities.
Each activity has a duration of either 2hours, a half day or a full day. The learning activity is designed by our specialist partners, Corporate Adrenalin who use their experience, skill and knowledge to create the appropriate experiential learning activity to "blend" in with the Peak Performance modules.
After completion of each experiential activity, the learning outcomes together with the audio and video footage of the activity are used as part of the subsequent e-learning process.
The complete programme will take several weeks to complete and has been designed to accommodate all learning styles, reflective learning, serial learning, interactive learning and experiential high impact emotional learning.
